The bulk of the collection reflects an Iowa connection, including materials from Camp Dodge and the Iowa War Savings Committee. Among the documents in the collection are: Camp Dodge historical material records, Camp Dodge construction plans, rosters, war savings societies materials, quarter master correspondence, draft registration blanks, scrapbooks of war cartoons, officer training commissions, printed pamphlets, a handwritten history of the Red Cross, orders for the 88th Division at Camp Dodge, and scrapbooks of newsclippings on the United War Work campaign.
